A key highlight of the visit was our advanced processing facility. Here, state-of-the-art equipment such as microwave drying systems, intelligent optical sorters, cooling units, and automated packaging lines work in harmony. Our microwave drying technology not only removes moisture efficiently but also serves as a sterilization step—all controlled through a digital interface that allows precise regulation of temperature and speed. This ensures the final product maintains a moisture content below 6%, preserving both nutrition and shelf life. Operators can monitor the drying process in real time via a visual panel, ensuring complete transparency and control.
The color sorter plays another critical role. Using high-resolution optical sensors, it identifies and removes any off-color or imperfect mealworms based on color, shape, and texture.
