Established in Heze, Shandong, China in July 2015, Heze GreenFut Biotech Co., Ltd. stands as a trusted global supplier of yellow mealworm products, focusing on integrated “breeding-processing-sales-export” operations. With 150-acre farms, 6000 tons of annual dry mealworm output, and 15000 tons of annual processing capacity, we adopt the “Company + Cooperative + Farmer” mode to ensure stable supply.

We hold international certifications including FDA, HACCP, implementing strict quality control from raw material testing to finished product inspection. Beyond basic production, we drive sustainability by repurposing insect skin into animal feed and worm castings into organic fertilizer. Additionally, we provide tailored products (mealworm powder, oil, protein powder) and logistics services to meet diverse needs in pet food, food ingredients, and cosmetics industries, committed to eco-friendly development and global client value.

MY HISTORY

2015

Took the lead in building the first 50-acre standardized breeding base, formulated regulations for temperature, humidity, and feed control, and laid a solid foundation for large-scale production.

2018

After 8 months of preparation with the team, successfully obtained certifications from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), enabling the company’s first batch of dried mealworms to be smoothly exported to the U.S. market.

2020

Designed and implemented a circular utilization model of “insect exoskeletons → animal feed, insect frass → organic fertilizer”, reducing production waste by 95% while cutting production costs by 18%.

2022

Established a “company + cooperative + farmer” cooperation system, integrated 10 local cooperatives, expanded the total breeding area to 150 acres, and increased the annual production capacity to 6,000 tons.

2024

Launched a customized solution platform for global customers, completed over 200 customized orders (covering packaging, logistics, and product specifications), and increased the customer retention rate to 92%.

The work we are currently advancing

In 2025, the factory will add a 5,000-square-meter dust-free processing workshop, build 2 processing production lines simultaneously, and purchase supporting advanced equipment including microwave drying machines, laser color sorters, cooling equipment, automatic packaging machines and automatic sub-packaging machines. With this series of upgrades, it can fully meet the diverse product packaging needs of most customers.
